The Institution has a prescribed code of conduct for students, teachers, administrators and other staff and conducts periodic programmes in this regard.

 

Code of conduct for teaching staff -

·        Every faculty member should work within the institutional policies and practices so as to satisfy the vision and mission of the college.

·        Code of conduct for teaching is mainly governed by the University of Bastar, Chhattisgarh act. Students ordinances and service Rules.

·        All the faculty members should prepare a lesson/teaching plan, well in advance before commencement of the classes.

·        All the members of staff, both teaching and non-teaching must sign regularly in the attendance register which is to be maintained by the head of the institution.

·        The working hours of the teaching staff shall be according to the prescribed time table and any other additional duty assigned to them.

·        Take leave as per rules with prior intimation, keeping in view their particular responsibilities for completion of academic schedule.

Code of conduct for students –

        Students are expected to adhere to the time table for attending lecture/tutorials and other extra-curricular activities.

        The university rules require a student to have a minimum of 75% of the total lecture, tutorials and practicals delivered separately.

        Students attendance in the following college functions is mandatory: annul cultural festival, NCC Day, NSS Day annual sports, annual function and other college events.

        Students must help to keep the campus neat and clean.

        Students must carry their identity card inside the campus.

        Students are expected to real notices/circulars displayed on the notice board.

        Students should not indulge in any kind of ragging or activities leading harassment on any kind towards fellow students.

Code of conduct for Non-Teaching/Administrative staff-

Code of conduct for non-teaching staff is mainly governed by the Bastar University acts, statutes, ordinances and service rules.

        The normal working period for those in the category for non-teaching staff shall be from 10.30 to 5.30 p.m. with one hours lunch break on all working days.\

        All staff members should display the highest possible standards of professional behavior. They should be punctual and disciplined toward this work.

        Every staff member shall maintain the appropriate levels of confidentiality with respect to student and staff record and other sensitive matters.

        All staff member must refrain from any form of harassment or unlawful discrimination relating to gender/sexuality/age/marital status in their behavior towards their colleagues, teaching staff and students.
